THE SALTY DONUT

Skip the Line

Challenge: Located in the heart of Wynwood Arts District, The Salty Donut is an artisanal donut shop with a loyal customer base. With a focus on small batch, craft style donuts, the brand creates a sweetly unique experience that is popular among both curious tourists and loyal locals. Due to high demand of limited edition batches, the lines are often long, wrapping around the facade of the building.

Strategy: To introduce a platform where users can "Skip the Line" and build a box in advance in order to prepare for quick and easy pick up. Users will have the ability to interactively swipe the donuts of their choice into the Salty Donut box, which will provide a fun, visual way to view each flavor. Limited edition batches will be highlighted and customers will be able to see which flavors are sold out before placing their order. Users will accumulate points through the app, which will eventually lead to special offers, such as exclusive flavor tastings, special merchandise, and complimentary treats.
